A People Now Prepared

When a lion is needed, don’t send a kitty cat. It is time for preachers that roar, not purr. God needed a John the Baptist who feared not to declare that the corrupt Jewish leaders were a “generation of vipers,” not a hypocritical Pharisee seeking the praise of men. He needed a Paul with his apostolic roughness and great plainness of speech, not a philosopher with his smooth rhetoric. It was time for a religious overhaul, and people with a vision and a divine call and gifting were required for such serious work.
